  1. I think you SEVERELY missed an obvious choice for tonight, which was Comedy as a Second Language’s third anniversary show at Kabin. This show, run by Chesley Calloway and Sean Patton, is a FREE show every week and tonight’s, to celebrate the anniversary, was a multi-hour showcase of AWESOME comics like Ted Alexandro, John Mulaney, Yannis Pappas, and many many more.

Dude, normally I love checking out your choices but when I saw this obvious error, I had to comment on it.

Genuine thanks for your comment. It sounds like it was a wonderful show, and I normally would’ve listed it (had I received a notice about it…).

But I’m in the final week of my latest book (The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Thyroid Disease, due to be published February 2011), so listings will be short and sweet until my deadlines are met.

And honestly, SketchFest, Bill Burr headlining, and Maria Bamford headlining are all extraordinary events that happen once a year in NYC, so they deserve extra spotlighting anyway…
